Welcome to the Mother's Embrace Yoga website! There is never a better time to make a life commitment to yourself to take a trip down the road to health and wellbeing than right now. Yoga can be a powerful first step down that road. It would be our honor to help you begin your journey...
Our studio is intimate and comfortable with no bright lights. We are located in a street-level space. Our building was built in the 1920's and we have worked hard to hold on to the charm that existed during that time period. Because our goal is to help you relax, you can expect soft music, candlelight and the faint smell of lavender to help calm things down. NEW.. out of respect for our students with allergies, we have installed an air purifying system to bring us all cleaner air! Also, we are fully air conditioned!
Below is a list of our current class offerings:
** Hatha Yoga - These classes are appropriate for beginners and up. Breathing, stretching, lots of relaxation. A good starting place for those with absolutely no experience or those who are easing their way back into exercise. MEN AND BUSINESS TRAVELERS WELCOME ANYTIME! These classes will reset your stress button! (light arm weights or yoga on the ball included from time to time in this class.)
**Prenatal (pregnancy)/Postnatal Yoga - Safe, gentle, modified stretching to help tone and strengthen the muscles that are used for delivery. Great group of people, all in various stages of pregnancy. Lots of networking. You will love this class! This class is also appropriate after the baby is born as a stepping stone towards returning to regular yoga classes and exercise in general, as well as give new moms a place to have an hour that belongs to them.
