Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
You have just found out that you are expecting a baby.. congratulations! Pregnancy is a very special time of life and a time when staying fit is even more important than usual, not only for you but also for your baby. Through the practice of gentle stretching, breathing, vocal and pelvic toning, you can learn to bond with your baby throughout the pregnancy and be an active part of the birth experience.

Some of the many benefits of practicing prenatal yoga include:

*Strengthening of the pelvic floor and deep groin muscles to aid in the baby's delivery.

*Reduces backache
*Lessens symptoms of sciatica and round ligament issues

Come spend time with other pregnant ladies and network in a nurturing, relaxing and compassionate environment. Calm mothers equal calm babies. Learn about chanting, the number one practice that helps women during childbirth.

These classes are also a gentle way to ease yourself back into regular exercise (or Hatha yoga) in the postnatal period.  

CURRENT SCHEDULE:

Sunday 10 am  ** Tuesday 6 pm ** Wednesday 6 pm  (Studio opens 30 minutes before each class.) Classes last approximately 60 minutes. 

Note.. students may switch among the classes week to week.. no need to attend the same class every week.

CLASS FEES - New student first class fee - $10; $15/class for returning students who wish to pay-as-you-go  ~ OR ~ save some money and purchase a 4 class card for $48; 6 class card for $70.
